Green Silicon carbide 100# grit for Bulletproof SiC ceramic
Green silicon carbide is an excellent ceramic material in functional ceramics with SiC purity of no less than 99%. It has the characteristics of high hardness, low density, high thermal conductivity, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance. It applies to silicon carbide aviation parts, silicon carbide ceramic hot parts, silicon carbide foam ceramics for metallurgy, silicon carbide ceramic filters, etc. Bulletproof SiC ceramic plate in the military industry is a typical application.
Reshaped Green silicon carbide 100 # grit is processed by special crushing and sand-making processes. The bulk density is higher than ordinary green silicon carbide grain with more round particles. When producing silicon carbide ceramic parts, adding more silicon carbide to the same container is beneficial for improving the density and mechanical strength of bulletproof ceramics.
