In the field of new building materials, the development trend of foam glass insulation is rapid. The other name of foam glass is ceramic sponge. Green SiC powder is a popular ceramic material, and green SiC  10000# is an alpha-phase green silicon carbide powder with a SiC purity of over 98%. Its particle size range is between 0.3um and 2.5um, with a median particle size of 0.6-0.8um in D50. This ultra-fine SiC powder is not only a finely ground polishing powder but can also be added to composite materials to improve their physical properties.

1. High-temperature resistance, preventing combustion. With the popularization of high-rise buildings, fire protection, and fire prevention building materials have important practical significance. Silicon carbide powder is a material with a refractory temperature of up to 1900 ° C. It is commonly used in ladles and high-temperature kilns. Using it to make building materials has the properties of high-temperature resistance and flame prevention.
2. High hardness. SiC powder has high hardness. It can enhance the strength of porous structures and improve the tensile strength of building materials.
3. Corrosion resistance. SiC powder does not react with acids or bases in both normal and high-temperature environments. 4. Low coefficient of thermal expansion to prevent deformation. The thermal expansion coefficient of silicon carbide is very low, and the insulation material made of it has good volume stability and is not prone to deformation, mold, and aging.
5. Low density. The volume density of Green SiC 10000# is smaller than that of other refractory materials, and it has the characteristics of lightweight and high strength.
6. Silicon carbide has low water absorption and good dispersibility. Green silicon carbide 10000 # has good dispersibility and fluidity after washing and can be quickly and evenly mixed with other materials in the production process of foam glass.
