Black silicon carbide F800 F1000 for grinding whetstone are fine carborundum powder for grinding and polishing. It’s a synthetic abrasive powder made from SiO2 quartz and and petrolem coke. It gets a shining and rainbow black color in appearance. The powder refine process is very complex. Milling, acid& akali treatment, pure water washing, suspension treatment are necessary steps to get fine silicon carbide powder of narrow particle size distribution.
