When heated to above 1627 ℃, the oxidation resistance of silicon carbide will decline rapidly.
  • High hardness: Mohs hardness of black silicon carbide is 9.2-9.3, slightly lower than that of green silicon carbide.
  • The toughness of black silicon carbide is higher than that of green silicon carbide.
  • The packing density is high, and the black silicon carbide particles produced by the shaping process are more rounded.
