The difference between Black silicon carbide F-Grit and P-Grit

There are differences between Black silicon carbide F-Grit and P-Grit in many aspects. Black silicon carbide P-Grit abrasive powder is specifically used in coated abrasives. For example, black silicon carbide water sanding paper, sanding sheets, sponge polishing blocks, nylon polishing wheels, non-woven grinding wheels, black diamond polishing wheels, grid grinding wheels, and other polishing products, these products use black silicon carbide P-Grit grain. Black silicon carbide F-Grit is used for bonded abrasive tools such as resin grinding wheels, diamond grinding wheels, oxalic acid Frankfurt grinding blocks, etc.

The main differences between black silicon carbide P-Grit and F-Grit are reflected in the shape, particle size distribution, and uses.

1. Differences in particle shape.
The black silicon carbide P-Grit milling process is Raymond or ball milling. The particle shape mainly being long or columnar. The black silicon carbide F-Grit milling process is ball milling or airflow milling. The particle shape is relatively rounded. Black carborundum P-Grit strip particles are beneficial for applying a portion of the abrasive particles to the paper or cloth substrate with glue. Thus it can stick the silicon carbide grain on the substrate firmly. The exposed part of the SiC grain can have a uniform grinding effect.
2. Differences in particle size range.
